Community Guidelines

Version 2.3 · Effective 1 May 2025

Defines prohibited live, audio, profile, and message content, reporting, blocking, moderation, penalties, and appeals.

1. Be kind

Swayli exists so adults can meet warmly and safely. Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, bullying, hate speech and threats are never allowed, in video, in audio, in chat or in direct messages.

2. Prohibited content

Live video: nudity, sexual activity, self-harm, graphic violence, weapons or drug use.
Room audio: sexual audio, hate speech, threats, and repeated disruption of a host.
Profile fields: sexual or hateful names and bios, contact details, and impersonation of another person or of Swayli staff.
Messages: unsolicited sexual content, scams, off-platform payment requests, and bulk unsolicited messaging.

3. Profile standards

Your avatar must show no nudity and must not be a stolen photo of someone else. Your display name must not imply Swayli staff status. Your bio must not contain phone numbers, emails, payment handles or other contact details. Display names and bios are screened when you save them, and anything that breaks these rules is rejected. Avatars are not screened automatically; report one if you see a problem.

4. Reporting and blocking

You can report an account, a room, a live session, a profile field or a specific message. Every report gets a trackable case reference you can follow in the Safety Center.

Blocking is immediate and one-sided: a blocked account cannot message you, follow you, appear in your recommendations, or be heard by you in a shared room. Unblocking removes the block only — it does not restore previous follows or message access.

5. Enforcement ladder and appeals

Warning → content removal → feature restriction → temporary suspension → permanent ban. Serious cases may skip steps.

Each decision shows the policy category, the action, the restriction duration and the appeal deadline. Eligible decisions can be appealed once. We do not reveal who reported you.
